"[Laguna Phuket Triathlon] is one of the last remaining gems that reminds me why I was attracted to triathlon in the first place, this is truly a world class event but it still retains a rare rawness that excites me. Location, culture, the people, the cuisine, the weather and incredible hospitality, capped off by one of the most exotic triathlon courses in the world. I can't wait to return after too many years away."

Phuket holds a very special place in my heart as I have spent a great deal of time training and racing here. It is simply the most amazing place and the people of Phuket are the most welcoming and warm people. The race just seems to get bigger and better every year and I am already very excited to be returning yet again to participate in this truely fantastic event."
